Hi, my name is Vusal
I am from Azerbaijan. I have studied, worked and lived in Turkey about 10 years in total. I like doing exercises, reading books, watching movies and TV Shows and sometimes playing online games with my friends from abroad in my leisure time.
Learning and teaching languages are some of my passions. Beside my native language Azerbaijani I know Turkish natively, English, Russian fluently, Spanish in B1 and Chinese in A2 level. Although my professional field is English tutoring, I also give online lessons in Turkish, Russian and Azerbaijani.
Since my childhood I have always been delighted to explain something to other people. Einstein says: âIf you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.â Explaining something in a simple way is one of my abilities that I really trust.

This course has been specially developed for English speakers who already have no basic knowledge of Azerbaijani and now want to take the next step. Since English and Azerbaijani differ greatly in structure and pronunciation, I explain a lot of the content in English so that you can clearly understand the most important concepts and the transition to learning Azerbaijani is smoother.
You don't need any prior knowledge of advanced Azerbaijaniâbasics are enough.
The Beginner's Foundations course is perfect if you already have a grasp of the basics but want to gain more confidence in grammar, vocabulary, and everyday communication. The lessons build on each other step by step and help you use your Azerbaijani clearly, confidently, and with self-assurance.

About the Course

About Azerbaijani & the Alphabet
This module gives you the cultural and linguistic background of the Azerbaijani language, along with its alphabet and pronunciation system. Youâll explore key sounds, common pronunciation rules, and begin reading simple words, laying the groundwork for fluency.
Module 3
Greetings and Everyday Expressions
Here youâll dive into basic communication. Learn how to greet others, introduce yourself, and use essential expressions in daily life. Youâll also practice demonstrative pronouns, plural forms, and vocal harmony, all while reinforcing through short exercises.
Module 4
Personal Pronouns & Basic Sentences
This module focuses on building simple sentences. Youâll master personal pronouns, the verb âto beâ in affirmative and negative, and form basic questions. By the end, youâll be able to say simple statements like âThis isâŚâ or âThat isâŚâ with confidence.
Module 5
Locative Case and Everyday Contexts
Youâll explore how to talk about places and positions using the locative case, as well as expressions like âthere is/there is not.â Vocabulary covers time (months, days, seasons), and practice includes asking and answering âWho has what?â for real conversations.
Module 6
Possessions and Descriptions
This module teaches you how to talk about ownership, professions, and descriptions. Youâll learn possessive pronouns, suffixes, and key expressions such as âI haveâ or âI donât have.â Vocabulary expands with common objects and descriptive language.
Module 7
Present Tense & the Case System
Now youâll work with the present simple and continuous tenses, both in affirmative and negative forms. Youâll also explore the nominative, ablative, dative, and accusative cases, giving you the tools to structure sentences with precision.
Module 8
Imperatives and Giving Instructions
Here youâll practice giving instructions and commands in both affirmative and negative forms. Through interactive exercises, youâll learn how to use imperatives naturally, whether asking someone to âcome hereâ or reminding them âdonât forget.â
