I’m a self-taught surrealist oil painter with experience in teaching art.Â
I spent two years teaching art to children and students of all ages, guiding them through the fundamentals of drawing and painting. Teaching art showed me how rewarding and inspiring it is to share my knowledge and to watch others grow creatively. Overtime, I realized I wanted to take that same spirit beyond the classroom, to share not only the basics, but also my full artistic process as a professional painter. Inside Annie’s Studio was created from the desire to open the doors of my practice, so artists everywhere can learn, experiment, and feel inspired to create.

Basic communication skills
You will be able to hold and participate in simple conversations, introduce yourself, ask and answer basic questions about personal information, daily activities, and interests.
Vocabulary expansion

COURSE CONTENT
This course has been specially developed for English speakers who already have no basic knowledge of Azerbaijani and now want to take the next step. Since English and Azerbaijani differ greatly in structure and pronunciation, I explain a lot of the content in English so that you can clearly understand the most important concepts and the transition to learning Azerbaijani is smoother.
You don't need any prior knowledge of advanced Azerbaijani—basics are enough.
The Beginner's Foundations course is perfect if you already have a grasp of the basics but want to gain more confidence in grammar, vocabulary, and everyday communication. The lessons build on each other step by step and help you use your Azerbaijani clearly, confidently, and with self-assurance.

Module 1
About the Course
In the opening module, you’ll be introduced to the structure of the course and how to get the most out of it. You’ll also receive a walkthrough of the learning platform and resources so you can study effectively and keep track of your progress.
Module 2
About Azerbaijani & the Alphabet
This module gives you the cultural and linguistic background of the Azerbaijani language, along with its alphabet and pronunciation system. You’ll explore key sounds, common pronunciation rules, and begin reading simple words, laying the groundwork for fluency.
Module 3
Greetings and Everyday Expressions
Here you’ll dive into basic communication. Learn how to greet others, introduce yourself, and use essential expressions in daily life. You’ll also practice demonstrative pronouns, plural forms, and vocal harmony, all while reinforcing through short exercises.
Module 4
Personal Pronouns & Basic Sentences
This module focuses on building simple sentences. You’ll master personal pronouns, the verb “to be” in affirmative and negative, and form basic questions. By the end, you’ll be able to say simple statements like “This is…” or “That is…” with confidence.
Module 5
Locative Case and Everyday Contexts
You’ll explore how to talk about places and positions using the locative case, as well as expressions like “there is/there is not.” Vocabulary covers time (months, days, seasons), and practice includes asking and answering “Who has what?” for real conversations.
Module 6
Possessions and Descriptions
This module teaches you how to talk about ownership, professions, and descriptions. You’ll learn possessive pronouns, suffixes, and key expressions such as “I have” or “I don’t have.” Vocabulary expands with common objects and descriptive language.
Module 7
Present Tense & the Case System
Now you’ll work with the present simple and continuous tenses, both in affirmative and negative forms. You’ll also explore the nominative, ablative, dative, and accusative cases, giving you the tools to structure sentences with precision.
Module 8
Imperatives and Giving Instructions
Here you’ll practice giving instructions and commands in both affirmative and negative forms. Through interactive exercises, you’ll learn how to use imperatives naturally, whether asking someone to “come here” or reminding them “don’t forget.”
